FAQ

Common questions,
honest answers.

Yes — regardless of how long you've lived in Baja, if your vehicle has U.S. plates, Mexican law requires valid Mexican liability insurance. Annual policies are the best fit for residents and expats.
Annual policies cover you for a full year — ideal for residents, expats, and frequent crossers. Short-term policies cover specific trips or dates, better suited for occasional visitors.
No. U.S. and Canadian policies are not recognized by Mexican authorities. A separate Mexican policy is legally required at all times while driving in Mexico.
Liability protects others but not your own vehicle. Full Coverage adds physical damage, theft, rental car, hotel, and more. For most Baja residents, Full Coverage is strongly recommended.
Yes — coverage for mainland Mexico is available. Tell us your route and we'll make sure your policy covers your full destination.
Absolutely. Mia can walk you through your options via WhatsApp and help you find the right coverage for your situation — annual or short-term, Baja or mainland.
